Boval cottage is situated on an Official rambling/cycling route and is situated between Jugon les Lacs and Dolo, and is minutes from the lake.

Jugon les Lacs is located in a valley and is full of architecture and heritage. The lake is 3.5km long and has recently been dredged to enhance the fishing and boating on the lake, surrounded by greenery the lake is an oasis of peace and quiet for those who like to walk or just sit and picnic.

The architectural heritage in Jugon square and surrounding area are to be admired. The granite mansions and central square, testify to the proud history of Jugon, which used to be a fortified town in the Penthièvre (area around Lamballe) at the time of the Dukes of Brittany.
