About Boval Cottage
The name Boval is derived from your hosts names Bob and Val who haved lived here since November 2006. The cottage is mainly built of Breton stone but has been sympathetically extended and renovated in keeping with it’s original character. The cottage is between 150-200 years old but all original records were lost during WWII, the first registered owner after the war was in 1949 and has had very few owners since, the previous owners were English who used it as a holiday home for 15 years.
The cottage boasts the luxury of modern living combined with many original features such as Oak beams and Stone that have been preserved, the living room centre piece boasts a large Inglenook fire place.
Large gardens are a feature of the property along with the surrounding countryside which is alive with wildlife which includes Red Squirrels, Deer, Rabbits and a variety of Birds from the tiny Wren to the mighty Bird of Prey of which there are several varieties.
English, French and Italian spoken.
